MCT New and Renewing MCTs - Update July 26
Updated July 26, 2025 As we step into FY26 on July 1st, 2025, I want to share some important updates regarding the MCT Program—especially for those planning to renew. New Fees Coming October 2025, no exact date and the cost will be shared at a later date. Starting July 1st, 2025, we will introduce: A renewal fee (ecommerce tool will be available in October 2025 for everyone to renew) A new MCT enrollment fee (ecommerce tool will be available in October 2025 for new MCTs) Our systems are currently being updated to support this change, with the new tool expected to launch in October 2025. More to come on costs. Pricing will be region supported. Session Requirement for Renewal Effective January 1st, 2026, MCTs will be required to complete six (6) sessions or six (6) days of training per calendar year to qualify for renewal. For clarity on what qualifies as a session, please refer to the attached PDF: Mandatory Use of MTM We will be enforcing stricter requirements for using Metrics That Matter (MTM) to log sessions with your Training Services Partner (TSP). Please coordinate with your TSPs to ensure MTM is being used correctly. What to Expect Next More details on program costs will be shared closer to the tool’s release. All MCTs that were MCTs before manual enrollment have been extended through January 1st, 2026, with full benefits. You’ll see this extension reflected in your profile in your MCT Trainer History NOT active certification. All current MCTs will be able to renew when the tool is available in October 2025 and the requirement to renew will be to have an active certification and have taught one class since your last renewal and pay the renewal fee (costs to come later). We will be checking that you have taught the one class using MTM. New MCTs will need ISC certificate, one role-based active certification and pay the MCT new enrollment fee. Hi all, As mentioned in the last community call, we're seeing some users get an "Access Restricted" error when they try to access the Training Services Partner dashboard on Partner Center. This is not impacting your KPIs, just your view to those KPIs. Thanks to everyone who messaged me with their details after the call. I've compiled the errors and sent to the engineering team for further investigation. I will update you here when there is news to share.
Checking If It’s Okay to Post a Training Partnership Idea in MCT Spaces
Dear Community Leaders, I hope this message finds you well! I’m reaching out to ask if it would be appropriate to share a post in the MCT Community or MCT Longue regarding an initiative I’m developing under the Microsoft XIAD program. The concept is to invite fellow MCTs—particularly those not currently affiliated with a TSP—to collaborate on future training events. While paid opportunities may not be available at the outset, we’re committed to offering visibility and recognition. One way we plan to do this is by featuring trainer profiles and their specialties on our website, helping build credibility and exposure for participating MCTs. As part of this initiative, I’m planning to organize a one-day event each quarter, and I’m looking to collaborate with five certified MCTs who hold any of the following certifications: PL300, DP100, DP203, DP600, DP700, PL200, PL400, PL600 The goal is to foster meaningful partnerships and create a space where trainers can align with our mission and potentially engage in future work. I’d love to start this conversation in a transparent and inclusive way, and I believe the MCT Café could be a great place to gauge interest and gather feedback. Urgente: Problema con confirmación de examen DP-700 programado para el 13 de septiembre de 2025
Me comunico con carácter de urgencia debido a un problema con la confirmación de mi examen de certificación DP-700 (Microsoft Fabric). El día 11 de septiembre de 2025 realicé el pago del examen desde el portal de Microsoft, y el cargo fue procesado exitosamente en mi tarjeta, esto a nombre de Pearson VUE, bajo el concepto WL VUE Testing Ex. Adjunto la captura de pantalla de la operación bancaria correspondiente. Sin embargo, hasta la fecha: No he recibido ningún correo de confirmación de mi cita. Al ingresar mis datos en el formulario que debería redirigirme al portal de Pearson VUE, se muestra un mensaje de “Error inesperado” (adjunto captura de pantalla). Ya me comuniqué con soporte de Pearson VUE, quienes me indicaron que debía elevar la consulta a Microsoft. Posteriormente, desde soporte de Microsoft me derivaron nuevamente a este medio para dejar mi consulta, indicando que la respuesta llegaría en un plazo de 24 a 48 horas. Mi gran preocupación es que la cita del examen está programada para el día 13 de septiembre de 2025 (mañana). Si no recibo confirmación a tiempo y no acudo al centro evaluador, Pearson VUE podría considerar mi ausencia como inasistencia y perdería el dinero ya pagado, sin haber tenido la oportunidad de rendir el examen. Solicito por favor: Confirmación urgente para regularizar mi situación o reprogramar el examen sin perder el monto abonado. Hi Team, I have a problem with "how to create/request achievement code for MS Learn". I will summary my backend below, and hope that someone can help and solve my issue. My personal email is "su*****@hotmail.com" I work for company A since 2017 until May2025, my work email is "su*****@aaaa" Company A is Global Training Partner, and I linked my personal email and work email together. while I was A employee, I can create the "achievement code" in MS learn by myself without any request or approval process by using my personal account. I moved to company B started June2025, this is Global training partner too. let say my new work email is "su******@bbbb". I unlinked my personal email from previously email (aaaa) and link to new work email (bbbb) In June - July 2025, my personal email still creates the achievement code via MS learn. But now, Aug2025, I can't do it anymore. from this point, I would like to know what happen that why I can't create the code from my personal account. is it about "change company" or "associate with new email" or not From above, I found request form as https://aka.ms/LearnEnrollmentForm but I dont know what exactly answer for this question (screenshot below). the black bold text asks for URL but the answer must be number? what should I fill in this? and how to get URL as that mentioned. Anyway, it means that no longer create the code by me-self before submitting the request form anymore. right? Am I understand, correct?
