Does Microsoft have any plans for extending AGPM to Windows Server 2025 or creating a new GPO management and approval system? GPOs are still the best solution for Windows Server, and now even Linux distributions are adding GPO support.811Views2likes1CommentGroup Policy Editor errors upon start, no longer allows policies on Windows Updates
Hello, I have an OEM version of Windows 10 Home with Group Policy Editor installed via powershell. I was to install it for my college as I had to use the Windows Update policy to keep the device on Windows 10 Version 21H1 due to a program requiring it to run (Windows 11 support has not been made yet). However, when I start up GPEdit.msc, I get an error saying the Windows ADMX file containing the Windows Update Policy is missing, however it is still there in its directory. The error is as follows: "Policy presentation element 'ManagePreviewBuildsId' in referenced presentation 'ManagePreviewBuilds' does not exist. File C:\WINDOWS\PolicyDefinitions\WindowsUpdate.admx, line 709, column 100" The ADMX file in that patch has this in line 709, column 100: "<enum id="ManagePreviewBuildsId" valueName="ManagePreviewBuildsPolicyValue" required="true">" What can I do to resolve this?4.6KViews1like3Comments
