When data is collected, we want to make sure it’s the right choice for you. To help you as an end user and a participant of this community to exercise your Data Subject Request (DSRs) rights under General Data Protection Regulations we provide the following functionalities. The below sections explain step by step process on how you can view, edit and delete your personal information (customer data). To learn more about the data collected by Microsoft and it’s use please view the Microsoft Privacy Statement. View and Export personal data To view all your data collected by Microsoft Tech Community: Navigate to Microsoft Tech Community Sign in by clicking “Sign In” link at the top right. Once logged in, click on your profile avatar and select “Profile” link. You can view all information related to your activity with the Microsoft Tech Community. You can update your profile, view things you have liked recently, your uploaded photos and using the filter in the My Activity tab to view: Conversations you have started Conversations you have replied to Conversations you have liked Any replies that have been marked as “Solution” Groups your a member of Any blogs you have contributed to You may also export their personal data in json format using below steps: Navigate to "My Settings". > My Settings Select “Security & Account” from the tab menu & Account Screen, in order you can view IP Addresses you have used to login, download your personal data and then close your account. IP Addresses : on this page you can view the ip addresses you have previous logged in with, you can also delete the IP addresses from our system - however be aware the next time you login we will capture that IP address. Download Data: Here you can download a copy of your posts, replies and your personal information Close Account: Clicking here will anonymise all your community contributions and remove all identifying information from our systems. Please note if you have manually entered your name within a post this will not be removed by this process. Once you request account closure you then can not create another account using the same credentials for 72 hours. The GDPR law defines that all processing of personal data needs to be acknowledged by the data subject itself, escpecially in this case. Since Bookings has no double opt-in feature, you are not in compliance with the law. There is ofcourse an opt-out feature, but this only applies to people who's data you have already processed. Without a double opt-in there is no lawful processing possible, and as soon as somebody fills in name, last name and e-mail there is processing of some sort.1.6KViews4likes1CommentUnexpected Error when navigating the Microsoft Tech Community
All, We are aware of higher than normal instances of unexpected errors this morning. This does not appear to impacting all users but users who are impacted may see a black bar asking you to report it to our team and quote a reference number. Users who experience this error may also encounter missing page elements i.e. no boards or blogs listed on corresponding pages. Update: This issue is not affecting all users, if you get an unexpected error then try again either from a different browser or device, even opening the page using the InPrivate mode can result in not getting this error. We are investigating this as a matter of urgency and will post updates here. Resolved: 10:00am GMT - The issue that caused this spike has now been resolved. Please remember unexpected errors can happen for a variety of reasons and so if you continue to receive them it does not mean this issue has resurfaced. Please try to reload the page that caused the error again and if no resolution then please contact our team. If I check my console for the angular.version I see this site is running version 1.8.2 Latest version is 14.0.6 Seems this is potentially a huge issue, or am I missing something?
