Hi everyone, my Windows 11 computer has become really slow lately and not sure why. It takes a long time to start up, apps feel laggy, and even simple tasks don't feel smooth anymore. I didn't change anything big, so I’m a bit confused. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'm hoping there are some easy things I can check or try first. Maybe it's related to storage space, background apps, or Windows settings, but I honestly don't know where to start in order to fix my computer is running slow. If anyone has beginner-friendly tips to speed up Windows 11 or common causes of slow performance, really appreciate the help.39Views0likes8CommentsHow to completely remove number-named file folder?
After Direct upgrading Win10 to Win11 on my PC, a Wondows.old folder appeared in C:\. Today I compulsively deleted it using some tool but another folder named with a number emerged, which is tens of KB in size and contains thousands of subdirectories. I've deleted the number named folder with the same toole for many times, but it always emerges with a varying number each time. Does anyone of you have idea to completely remove this folder? Thanks.7Views0likes0Commentswhat linux has the best openGL support?

I bought a new PC with a larger SSD drive (1TB) as the my old Windows 11 PC is running out of space. Only 20GB free space is available for the old SSD 256GB. I do know a clean install works but it won't keep my files and especially the design apps in this way. I heard I can make a clone of this PC and restore the to new PC. Is this true? If yes, how can i clone my entire PC to a new one for Windows 11? P.S. I didn't find a built-in feature in Windows 11 for this task. In addition, there are so many disk cloning software and not sure which one is the best, lol.36Views0likes7Commentscomputer occasionally unable to discover home wifi network
Sometimes when I wake up my computer, it is suddenly unable to detect my house's wifi, but it can still find other nearby networks. Every other device in my house is fine and can connect to my internet, but it's just my computer which can't find it at all. Every time it does this I just have to restart the router, but it's really annoying, and I was wondering if anyone has a fix?25Views0likes2CommentsHow to Convert exFAT to NTFS on Windows 11 Without Losing Data
I have an external hard drive currently formatted as exFAT, but I need to switch it to NTFS for better Windows compatibility (file permissions, compression, etc.). I know Windows doesn't have a direct convert command for exFAT like it does for FAT32 to NTFS, so I'm looking for the safest method. Here's what I’ve considered: Backup & Reformat – Copy all data elsewhere, reformat the drive as NTFS, then move files back. Third-party tools – Are there any reliable tools that can convert exfat to ntfs without data loss? Command-line method – Does diskpart or format have a hidden way to do this? Has anyone successfully done this before? What's the best approach to avoid data loss? Thanks in advance!7.2KViews0likes8CommentsWindows File Explorer Item Spacing just went crazy - Nov-2025
Today, the spacing in my windows file explorer just reverted to the horrible non-compact spacing. I have set all the "compact" spacing options. Checked my registry and the UseCompactMode entry is there and set to 1. But the problem won't go away. I get wide spacing. Is there a bug in the newest windows update (25H2, build 26200.7171)?Solved153Views0likes2CommentsMedia Player does not show preview on seek bar
You know how you hover your mouse along the bottom of the seek bar and as you move along the seek bar you get a preview of the content at that location. Youtube videos have the same thing. Well Window 11 Media Player does not show the preview as you move the cursor along the seek bar. I see no way to enable this through some setting. The settings menu in Media Player has no setting for this. I am pretty sure this worked at some point in time, I know it worked on my old Windows 10 7820X system that I retired in March. How do I get Windows 11 Media Player to show a preview of the content as I move the cursor along the seek bar?35Views0likes3CommentsC drive is full. What should I delete to clean up C drive safely?
My Windows 11 laptop has a small size C drive. It only has 80GB in space. Now, only 6GB free space is available and the computer starts lagging these days. Now, Windows 11 keeps warning me about low disk space. I'm not very experienced with system stuff, so I'm worried about deleting the wrong files and breaking something important. Because C drive is almost full, I've already cleaned up some obvious big files like old downloads and emptied the Recycle Bin, but it didn't free up much space. Not sure if it's safe to delete things like temporary files, Windows update files, or old system folders. Could someone explain what's safe to delete on the C drive and what I should absolutely avoid touching?85Views0likes9Comments
