Why is Excel macros sometimes missing ?
I have an excel file with a lot of rectangular shapes showing a tree structure for a family. When the user clicks on one of the rectangulat shapes the 'story' of that person opens up in a Word dokument. BUT ... Most often the macro 'assigned' to the OnAction WONT run - instead this message comes up: The macros is NOT shown when I "show macros" but it IS present in the VBA section when I press alt+F11 ! When it's working it's most often reight after a reboot og the machine - then it maybe works in 10-30 minuts and then the problem is back again ! I HAVE chesked the security setting allowing macros to be activated ! I have tha SAME file running under Window 10 for years WITHOUT any problems !!!! I can see out there that people FOR YEARS have had similar problems with missing macros - but unfortunately I found no solution ! What the _BEEP_ is wrong here ?
Error installing Apps 365, command not supported.
I was performing an Online Repair for a user. It did the uninstall fine, but then threw this error. I tried to reinstall, same error. Used the MS Cleanup tool, ran SFC, cleared temp files, cache... Internet connection is stable. Disabled security software (Zscaler). I'm out of ideas. I'm hoping someone has seen this before. Thanks for any help!

“Word Online Transcribe shows ‘Go Premium’ despite active Microsoft 365 Family subscription”
On all of my Chromebook devices, Word Online Transcribe shows ‘Go Premium’ despite an active Microsoft 365 Family subscription. So, I'm effectively blocked from using that function because it requires an upgrade that I already have. I have already contacted support. Support replied: Microsoft confirmed a recent bug where Transcribe incorrectly showed “Upgrade to Premium” for active subscribers. The fix was rolled back, but cached tokens may still cause issues. Clearing cookies or signing in via InPrivate usually resolves this. The “Go Premium” message in Word Online’s Transcribe feature is a known bug, not a new paywall, and it persists for some Microsoft 365 subscribers even with an active plan. However, their suggested fixes (clearing cache, reinstalling PWA, updating Chrome OS, setting language to English US) have not resolved this problem for me. Support was not able to provide any further potential solutions. They suggested using OneNote dictation, which uses the same transcription protocol, but I haven't figured out how to use it on OneNote, as I typically don't use it. Also, the main use case for me is to upload recorded content and having Word Online transcribe with time stamps and speaker labels. Other than buying another service to do this, MS Word Online was the best way to achieve this.
Question/Bug Report on OneNote Ruler
I am a Student from Germany and have recently stumbled upon a very annoying bug in OneNote: The scale on the ruler is bricked! Here you can see what I mean: The paper I am using is squared 5mm. The problem persists when using other sizes though. The funny thing about this is that apparently the scaling of the ruler was given some thought, since it does change the size of its scale when you zoom in or out for example. What is don´t realize is what the reference for it is? Its certainly not a millimeter scale. The option to change the scale on the ruler or changing it automatically depending on the selected unit of measurement in the settings would be very helpful and appreciated! (I have tried selecting different units in the settings but this does not seem to affect the scale of the ruler...) I think a lot of students would benefit a lot from this and from my personal experience of talking to other students at my uni, I can confirm, that this a big reason for people to switch to something like Xournal++ or GoodNotes. Especially in technical classes where you often need to draw something accurately... What do you think about this and would this be an issue that could be resolved in a future update?
Microsoft 365 Subscriptions
In fourth quarter of 2024, I decided to upgrade my machine and tried out a web only version (freeware) of Microsoft 365. After some time, I found out that I was not getting the qualities I needed for documentation to be presentable as Microsoft Word and Excel were not usable for print formats. I decided to buy a Microsoft 365 Business subscription (bought through my domain provider) which allowed me to use my email address attached to me and my website domain. This allowed me to also download desktop copies of Word and Excel. However, I ran into problems with old accounts colliding with my new ones..., for example, Skype for Business, Microsoft Store, and Microsoft Live would constantly appear in my installation admins. If I attempted to install them, the installation would fail and get stuck i.e, I could not remove them. Microsoft message pop-ups would state, "You cannot install this on a 'work' account." I thought to myself, "Okay, I installed my Windows OS as a "Work Account on my new machine." This made sense, because I could go to my browser on my new machine and I could go to my old laptop that had absolutely no Microsoft 365 on it and access my Office from my browser profile. My old laptop is the only machine that accepts the Windows Live email address i.e., it acts as a Windows Live access service via the 'free' outlook account to which it is attached. However, now that all these items are separated by Work or Home classification, I keep getting messages that state, "We cannot renew your Microsoft 365 account." But my Work account should not be attached to Microsoft Live accounts...should it? After all, it uses Entra ID for access and the subscription is bought through my domain vendor. Why is Microsoft Support sending me these emails? My original setup accessed Microsoft Live accounts via the web through my old laptop using my free Outlook email and looked something like the graphic below:

Let me ask about where to ask to delete a Microsoft 365 Developer Program account(profile). This post might be inappropriate here but let me ask as follows because I do not find the useful answers yet. My predecessor joined the Microsoft 365 Developer Program. After she left my company, I took over her company mobile phone with the same phone number. Since my predecessor left without deleting the account(profile) of the program, I am unable to join the program using the company mobile phone number. *Please see the screenshot of the error. I have an M3 MacBook Pro MAX running Parallels Desktop to give me Windows 11. Historically, I have been able to run Outlook on MacOS and Windows without any problems. However, now I can't add my Hotmail account to Outfor Mac v16.93. I have removed Outlook and reinstalled it. I have cleared the application data. I also tried to raise a support ticket, but it won't connect to the Live Chat agent. Contact Support - Outlook for Mac OneCustomer | Chat Support We are unable to load chat at this time. Please try again later. When I try to add my Hotmail account back in, I get the following message after accepting the Authenticator challenge. Outlook.com Connecting to Outlook.com. An authentication error occurred while configuring account. Try Again Connecting to Outlook via a web browser works; Outlook on Windows also works. Hi, I created a new modern SharePoint List based on a previously created List on another SharePoint. When I try to edit the views in the new (copied) List I get an error saying "Something went wrong". There's no way to edit some parts of the view, I can only edit the layout in the list view and save it there but the menue in the List settings throw that error. I already tried to create new views but I can't edit those either. Any ideas how to solve it? Best regards
