Hello! I wonder if someone can help me work out if this is possible or not! We have a Bookings system that say we have Service 1 that can be booked from Monday through to Friday by anyone with various members of staff. However, I have a member of staff who only works for this service, parttime and therefore is not available for Service 1 on say a Monday and Tuesday. BUT they do still work with different services on those days, so I cannot restrict their working days via the Edit Staff option as they should still be available for other services. Is there a way I can restrict Service 1 for that member of staff only? So that it is only available for them on a Wed-Fri? I do not want to have to create separate Services for members of staff if it can be helped. But I also cannot see a way to select when services can be made available for specific members of staff. Hi everyone, One of our MS Bookings users (listed as staff on a shared calendar) has the “Events on Office calendar affect availability” option turned on, which allows her Outlook calendar to sync with MS Bookings. This was working fine before, but we recently noticed that it stopped syncing — her Outlook calendar events are no longer reflected on the MS Bookings side, even though the option remains enabled. All other staff members on the same shared calendar with that setting turned on are syncing normally. Has anyone experienced this before? What could be causing this, and how can we troubleshoot it? Thanks in advance for any help!16Views0likes1CommentCalendar not showing correct times for one day
I created a calendar that my company will use for our booth at an upcoming conference. The first day of the show, the booth is only open from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., but not matter what I do, the time displayed when you select a service on that first day is from 8 a.m. - 6 a.m. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? It makes absolutely know sense.11Views0likes1CommentRestrict Service to a specific user
Hello! I am wondering if it's possible to restrict days a service is available for specific staff members? I have a Service that is available Monday-Friday....but some members of staff only work parttime for this service and are therefore cannot be shown as available for that service only on certain days. This would be fine if they only needed to be available for that service as we would then just edit their availability on the calendar at staff level. HOWEVER, the issue comes as these staff members do work on the other days but for different services and therefore they do need to be available for the full days - but they can't be available for that service on specific days. i.e. Joe Bloggs works Monday and Tuesday and available only for Service #1. Joe Bloggs works Wednesday-Friday and available only for Service #2. Jane Doe works Monday-Friday and available for Service #1. Both Service #1 and #2 are open to book by the same end user and therefore, ideally, need to be part of the same Booking system. Is there a way to restrict a service to specific days but only for specific staff members?Solved20Views0likes1CommentCustom fields in book screen
I'd like to add a field to the book screen that requires the user to add a subject to their request. At the moment, calendar entries only show, for example, "60-minute discussion with ...", so it's difficult to know in advance what sort of conversation you're getting into. Copilot tells me there's an "add a custom field" option, but I can't find it. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.44Views0likes3CommentsShowing available dates as unavailable
Hi We have a booking page with 4 services that people can book. Out of the blue, two of the services have become unavailable at strange times and dates, even though nothing has been booked in their calendars, nor have any days off or other events that should prevent availability been scheduled. I have checked the available working hours for all the services, and nothing should prevent them from being available.Solved138Views1like3CommentsMain bookings calendar not showing busy blocks from outlook
When we first started using bookings earlier in the year, if you had an appointment in outlook it would show a block for the staff being busy. This is necessary so when manually adding appointments we don't double book a staff member. Now however, those blocks are not showing. Outlook does appear to be pushing the info to bookings, but they only show if you go into the "Calendar and Availability" section of the staff details screen (multiple clicks outside of the main calendar). Going there every single time to book a staff member is not practical. Does anyone know how to get the main calendar to show when staff are busy again?61Views0likes1CommentTime off for Booking schedule
I have created a Booking Calendar for a training plan that will last 4 weeks. I am not available on one of the days due to a conference in middle of the calendar. I see documentation about Time Off for a Booking but don't see where this is done. Is this still available?52Views0likes1CommentHow to Filter or Block Non-Business Emails in Microsoft Bookings?
Hi community! 👋 I'm currently using Microsoft Bookings to manage appointment scheduling for a project, and I’m looking for a way to restrict or filter out personal emails (like @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, etc.) from making bookings. What I've Tried So Far: Required custom field asking users to "Enter your business email" Manual review via "Admin Approval" setting Filtering in Outlook after the booking is created But these are still more like workarounds. Is there any built-in feature or third-party integration that can: Block bookings unless the email is from a business domain Auto-decline free/personal email addresses Or at least flag them in the calendar? Bonus Context: I run a digital experience site that blends online booking and content storytelling — one of our examples is this fun article combining real-life stories with booking-based workflows: 🔗 https://tirafficridergame.com/evel-knievel-mining-incident/ It’s not a direct tutorial, but we're expanding into more productivity-related content. Any help or plugin tips would be appreciated! I created and am the organizer of a booking page for my team. It is great in allowing me to adjust who will take client calls & meetings depending on who is in the office. The problem is when someone accepts a meeting or responds to it because one of my team members did not call them, that email goes to me as the organizer. Is there a setting where it can go to the team member who will be taking the meeting? If not, Microsoft can you adjust? Secondly, some of my team members had had problems of double booking. There seems to be a delay for new meetings, either created by the team member or through another booking link of theirs, to pop up on their calendar. Thus, someone can see availability at a given time and book a meeting when it may have been booked up during the time it took them to fill out the booking form. If others are having the same problem, let me know!60Views0likes1Comment
