Good morning, Silly issue perhaps, but I can't seem to figure it out. I've built a SharePoint Calendar view and want only the Event Name to show up in the Calendar view when the detailed view is not open. Right now, the Start Time is the first thing you see when viewing. Can I prevent the time from displaying until you open the calendar item? Does anyone have any idea how to do that? the rule should be: if(attendees with domain different from mine are in the attendees string) then (category = blue), else (category = yellow). thanks!1.4KViews0likes1CommentMS teams calendar not showing multiple calendars on my outlook (Microsoft 365)
I have set up Outlook calendar to show a number of calendars. For example one is my personal work calendar and the other is a calendar for group meetings, even those I am not participating in. I also have a holidays calendar. However, in my Teams desktop app I can only see appointments in my personal calendar. I cant see other calendars. Is there a way to make Teams display the other calendars just like Outlook?2.1KViews1like1CommentSharepoint settings wont activate. Need before I can change default CSS Color codes
I am trying to take a sharepoint calendar with overlays and change the default colors. After reading articles and watching several videos it appears these are the steps. However, I am having issues with completing the first step and the microsoft tech told me to post on this site. Here are the steps: Step 1 Go to Site Settings Site collection features Then SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure and click activate. When I do this I get a screen that says Sorry, something went wrong! then I click technical details.... I get Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation. the link that is there sends me to a page that says Unfortunately, help seems to be broken... There aren't any help collections in the current language for the site you're using. Step 2 would be to go back to site settings Click Manage Site Features Click activate SharePoint Server Publishing (which will activate) After we change these two settings to active we will add a alternative CSS URL. This will hopefully then give us other 9 new colors to choose from on the overlay calendar. Anyone have a solution to my step one where it wont let me activate SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure Thank you for any help you may provide.595Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Teams Calendar Duplicating Items
Hi everyone! So we are currently trying to implement MS Teams into our forever growing network and we are coming up to a couple snags here and there. The major one that we really care about is in the calendar item bug. When going to the calendar screen the first thing you see is your current booked days all fine and working. Once you start navigating the calendar though e.g. Clicking the down arrow to go to the next month, all the items in the next month duplicate. They make double of whatever item you had. If you go back to the original month, the previous items that weren't duplicated are now duplicated also. If you then navigate to the regular conversation tab, or file tab or any other tab than the calendar and then go back to the calendar. (e.g. leaving and coming back to calendar) Everything has reset back to normal, until you start navigating the page again. I know that teams haven't fully implemented outlook calendars into the teams system yet (using a url to access rather than fully implementing it) so there may be bugs, but having a constant duplication glitch is really annoying and its one of the main reasons we haven't moved the majority of our workforce over yet. If anyone has an idea or some info, that would be appreciated! Thanks - James12KViews0likes6CommentsMerge several Sharepoint calendars into one and show it in TEAMS
I'm trying to set up an organisation within Office 365 based on TEAMS where we have about > 500 users at different responsibility levels, during Covid pandemic, it was a little bit chaotic as everyone used its own conception and I want to make a more coherent setting : here's the thing/kind of users i have - normal user who is in one core-teams and several subject-related sub-teams - advanced user who manage several sub-teams in different core-teams, he is only attached to one core-team - coordinators for the advanced users of the core team - master coordinator for all the coordinators. We wilkl all be working with TEAMS as the main app !! what i would like to have is the following setting for the calendars : the normal users sees the calendar of his core-team and the sub-teams of the core-team the advanced users sees the calendar of his care-team and all the calendars of the other sub-teams the coordinator sees the calendar of the core-team the master sees the calendars of the core-teams. So what i basically need is a way to integrate several calendars into one and show this merged calndar for the relevant users ?5.6KViews0likes1CommentView Bookings by service
We are creating two Bookings calendars for student services at our college- one for virtual visits and one for in-person visits. Each calendar has multiple services in it that are provided by different departments. Each department wants to be able to see their Bookings without having to see every other departments. Aside from making them each their own unique Bookings page is there anyway to filter the calendar to choose what services you see? We want to make it easy for our students, but not stress out our staff either!696Views0likes0Comments
