Blocking Bluetooth file transfer
We have created a policy to block Bluetooth file transfer. The policy was created through Attack surface reduction -> Device Control. 1-This seems to "Dim" the option to add a Bluetooth device in windows. Which is not what is needed. Only file transfer is to be blocked. How can this be achieved? 2-In allow Bluetooth, You get the following description: Allows the user to enable Bluetooth or restrict access. Note This value is not supported in Windows Phone 8. 1 MDM and EAS, Windows 10 for desktop, or Windows 10 Mobile. If this is not set or it is deleted, the default value of 2 (Allow) is used. Most restricted value is 0. There is another option "Reserved" There is no documentation for this option, Any Idea?Bluetooth earphones doesn't work in Windows 11
Some Bluetooth earphones (like Haylou GT1) don't work on Windows 11 and it was working perfectly on Windows 10. I think the problem with the drivers and especially with the earphone driver not with the Bluetooth driver because the Bluetooth works normally with the controllers. Just to let you know when I disable the "Haylou-GT1 Avrcp Transport" driver and keep the "Haylou-GT1" driver enable it sometimes works but with very bad quality sound so I am some kind of sure it's a driver problem and that driver provider is Microsoft so I think you can fix it. Teams Call Drops When I Connect Bluetooth Headset
This is a new issue. My headset worked fine with Teams as recently as yesterday. Today I can start a Teams call, but when I tell my headset to connect to the call, the call drops. I have tried both connecting the paired headset to Teams after the call started, as well as pairing the headset to the computer after the call started. Each time the call simply drops. There is no error pop-up. For anything else the headset works fine. The wired headset works with Teams, as well. I have (obviously) tried restarting the computer. It is a three year old homebrew using an AORUS mb running Windows 10 (64 bit) build 19045.3570, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19052.1000.0 The version of Teams I'm currently using is 1.6.00.27573 (64 bit), which updated a week ago. The bluetooth drivers on the system haven't changed in ages.
Windows 11 Dynamic Lock Unstable
Dynamic Lock in Windows 11 is unstable. Even when phone is connected to PC via Bluetooth, Dynamic Lock says it can't detect your phone. This screenshot shows: my phone is connected but dynamic lock shows not detected. Sometimes it works if I press the Scan for Phone option manually. But its not intended to work like that.
