Dear All, While this may not be the required case in production. However, on my standalone laptop, I have installed Windows Server 2022 Datacenter Edition(GUI). Wireless Network is working which helps me to connect to WiFi network for internet. BUT, Bluetooth devices are NOT connected. They are detected and showed as 'paired' but never connects. ALSO, it fails to detect the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. This is useful when I want to present my laptop screen with all Hyper-V machines on a projector with which Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter is connected. Let me know if anyone has experienced this similar behavior and if there are any suggestions around. regards KayyumSolved114KViews2likes237CommentsPhone link says I already have the phone set-up with another app
The Phone Link on the computer is where the issues are and under Calls I have lost the ability to use the phone feature. I've followed calls troubleshooting. I removed all Bluetooth apps including unpairs. This didn't fix the issue. I've terminated, repaired, and reset then I cleared these again and uninstalled. Redownloaded it from the Microsoft store and still cannot connect. Microsoft store and Windows Updates are up to date. On the Samsung S20fe phone I've cleared Link to Windows/Link to Windows Service. The phone is all up to date Update: The issue is happening as soon as I confirm the pin with the computer and phone to connect to calls. It will then say that I have another device linked using Bluetooth. Hi everyone. I have a pair of Taotronics Soundliberty 79 earbuds. They've pair fine with my laptop running Win 10 and work for listening to music. I've also tested joining a Google Meets meeting and audio works fine in both directions. However, when I join a MS Teams meeting after a minute or two I can no longer hear audio through my earbuds, but the microphone continues to work and others can hear me. I need to go to device settings in Teams and switch to PC speaker/mic then back to the earbuds to restore audio which only lasts a couple of minutes before dropping out again. Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this?Solved166KViews10likes68CommentsBluetooth headset microphone bad quality
I try use my bluetooth headset (Sony WH-XB900N) in MS Teams. Sound ist good but other members in the video conference can't hear me very good. My voice is very quiet. The same in the test call option. The microphone level in Win 10 is on 100%. I tried the headphone in Skype and the quality is good there. Hardware is ok then. I have the same issue on two different devices (Laptops).Solved106KViews3likes26CommentsBlocking Bluetooth file transfer
We have created a policy to block Bluetooth file transfer. The policy was created through Attack surface reduction -> Device Control. 1-This seems to "Dim" the option to add a Bluetooth device in windows. Which is not what is needed. Only file transfer is to be blocked. How can this be achieved? 2-In allow Bluetooth, You get the following description: Allows the user to enable Bluetooth or restrict access. Note This value is not supported in Windows Phone 8. 1 MDM and EAS, Windows 10 for desktop, or Windows 10 Mobile. If this is not set or it is deleted, the default value of 2 (Allow) is used. Most restricted value is 0. There is another option "Reserved" There is no documentation for this option, Any Idea?408Views0likes0Comments- 758Views0likes8Comments
Bluetooth earphones doesn't work in Windows 11
Some Bluetooth earphones (like Haylou GT1) don't work on Windows 11 and it was working perfectly on Windows 10. I think the problem with the drivers and especially with the earphone driver not with the Bluetooth driver because the Bluetooth works normally with the controllers. Just to let you know when I disable the "Haylou-GT1 Avrcp Transport" driver and keep the "Haylou-GT1" driver enable it sometimes works but with very bad quality sound so I am some kind of sure it's a driver problem and that driver provider is Microsoft so I think you can fix it. There is a lot of people who had the same problem, look at this link: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/report-an-issue/bluetooth-earphones-doesnt-work-in-windows-11/m-p/2554552 I contacted Microsoft support and they say: "Only our engineers have the access to its Windows 11" So they advised me to post in here in windows insider (I don't know why, I am not a Windows insider member, I just downloaded windows 11 when it's released for everyone.)26KViews18likes20CommentsTeams Call Drops When I Connect Bluetooth Headset
This is a new issue. My headset worked fine with Teams as recently as yesterday. Today I can start a Teams call, but when I tell my headset to connect to the call, the call drops. I have tried both connecting the paired headset to Teams after the call started, as well as pairing the headset to the computer after the call started. Each time the call simply drops. There is no error pop-up. For anything else the headset works fine. The wired headset works with Teams, as well. I have (obviously) tried restarting the computer. It is a three year old homebrew using an AORUS mb running Windows 10 (64 bit) build 19045.3570, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19052.1000.0 The version of Teams I'm currently using is 1.6.00.27573 (64 bit), which updated a week ago. The bluetooth drivers on the system haven't changed in ages.820Views0likes1CommentWindows 11 Dynamic Lock Unstable
Dynamic Lock in Windows 11 is unstable. Even when phone is connected to PC via Bluetooth, Dynamic Lock says it can't detect your phone. This screenshot shows: my phone is connected but dynamic lock shows not detected. Sometimes it works if I press the Scan for Phone option manually. But its not intended to work like that.743Views0likes2Comments
