10 Topicsadd attachments button missing in "New Item" form of an SPO list
Hopefully I get the right Forum for this... In a sharepoint online list we have. If you goto the list and click the 'New' button. The "New Item" form appears and correctly has the Attachments field and the "add attachments" link. However, if you use the "Copy Link" to get the link to the new item form, then open a new browser tab and paste the link in, the "New Item" form appears full screen within this new tab but the Attachments field with the "add attachments" link is missing. This happens with every list I've tried it with. Is this working as intended, a setting I have that I'm not aware of, or a bug that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere? I've added two attachments. 1) New-Item-From-List.png. Shows the form when you click the "New" button when looking at the list. 2) New-Item-From-Link.png. Shows the form when you click the "Copy link" button (shown at the top of the 'new-item-from-list.png' attachment) and paste that into a new browser tab.7.3KViews1like14CommentsReceiving emails is delayed
Hi! Currently I am receiving emails with attachments that were sent anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours ago to my Microsoft Teams Channel. It seems that they are out of order and this is the first time I have encountered this. I've looked into size requirements and I don't believe that is the issue. The senders of these emails shows that it was successfully sent as they are in the 'sent items' in their inbox. If you can please let me know what might be happening and if I am able to prevent this from happening again. Thank you for your time, KristenSolved3KViews0likes1CommentWhy there is not file attachment option when using planner in TEAM?, only for link or sharepoint
Not sure why but when you try to upload a file from your PC or laptop in the planner connected through team is it not possible, when you go to planner directly you have 3 options to attach documents, link/SharePoint or file. It is uncomfortable to have to change to planner every time you want to attach a file since in TEAM2.7KViews0likes2CommentsDownload Attachment attached as Shared Link
We have an annual review process where each associate attaches and submits a completed PDF form via email. The Flow saves the attached file to a SPO Document Library. However, if the attachment are a "Shared Link" instead of an uploaded attachment the Flow is not saving these attachments. The Flow is triggered by an Outlook "On new email" event; A reply is sent to sender; A delay is applied to wait for our security scan to release the file; The file is saved to Document Library. How can I get these "Shared Link" attachments to download?problem with attachments

Hi. Am trying to find out the best way to use SCC eDiscovery (E3) to discover files that were shared in chat. My understanding is that you can't identify the version of the file that was shared. This is a pain, but am also struggling to identify even how to export all versions of the file that was shared in Teams chat. Anyone have any ideas please. I have setup a list in SharePoint Online where users are able to create a request (as a list item) and attach a supporting document. Once this supporting document is attached and the list item is created, I need edit access to that attachment to be disabled. This prevents them from going back to the list and secretly modifying things to the document after submission. It's a really important feature that we absolutely must have, does anybody know if this can be done? Thanks1KViews0likes1CommentAzure teams bot: how to receive files in a group chat
We have a teams bot in our organization. In a personal chat we are able to get an attachment activity with the sharepoint downloadUrl when we upload a file in the chat, but when we try to add this bot to a group and upload an image, we get an empty activity without any image data - {"contentType":"text/html","content":""}. Is it possible to upload an image in a group, and get it in our webhook as an attachment? As I read, Teams bot API only supports files in personal context, but what are the alternatives to get it in the webhook?931Views1like2Comments
