Auto select text in Microsoft Word
In Ms Word document, text is auto selected and can't perform any task in word document. Even you can't write up anything or edit already existed text.
PS:Microsoft 365 Subscription product
Already tried this option as well

- Does the issue affect all documents, or just some particular ones? Log into www.office.com/myaccount with your registered email address and check the status of your subscription.
- Yes it affect all documents, you can't edit the pre existed word files, also can't write anything in new file.
Actually my university gave me the subscription of office 365.
Currently it's sign in with my credentials and showing subscription product.- Did you log into www.office.com/myaccount with your registered email address and check the status of your subscription.
However, it would be worth while checking with the IT people at your university.
