Auto select text in Microsoft Word

Yes it affect all documents, you can't edit the pre existed word files, also can't write anything in new file.
Actually my university gave me the subscription of office 365.
Currently it's sign in with my credentials and showing subscription product.

Did you log into www.office.com/myaccount with your registered email address and check the status of your subscription.
