Why the i7-7700K is not supported?
Hi Microsoft,
Do you have a single good reason to not support the i7-7700K?
It run well on windows 10, why the heck it would not be supported on the 11?
Does 4.2Ghz not enough to launch windows 11?
My CPU is supported on windows 10 until 2025, why it bother you so much to provide security updates on windows 11?

And yes, I have got an I7 7700K. I'm thinking about Intel now...I spent a lot on that processor, which became NOT SUPPORTED and gave me a lot of compatibility issues caused by MS a few months after, as they stopped first not supporting Windows 7, and then I had to switch to Windows 10. And now I have to spend more? After seeing your suggestions, I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 through an external bootable SSD, which works like a charm, bye to **bleep** Dev Software Integration from MS OS and all the stuff related. You have just lost all my data. Continue treating your customers like this...
I'm done!
- BasirGardeziCopper ContributorI'm not done with my current PC i7-7700k. I was hoping that MS would include it. It just hurts to be sitting right at the edge with 7800 being allowed and so many users of the 7700.
- fm4711Copper Contributorit is ridiculous to net allow such processor. I have it too.

- ShameOnYouMicrosoftCopper ContributorThank you for sharing this, but I don't want a trick to update my computer.
I don't trust Microsoft anymore: they said Windows 10 would be the last, but this is a lie. I spend more that 2500€ for my computer, and 3 years after they say I need a new one.
Now I understand better why Windows cost only 20 bucks. They must have made a deal with Intel to force customer to buy new CPUs, this is very clever!
Microsoft noticed that users didn't want to pay for his product, so they made them pay anyway.
So Microsoft, hear me well: I will not throw my $500 CPU because you said so. You can keep your fancy new OS, I will switch to something else in a near future.

I cannot understand why you say this a matter of "trust". It's not a trick, it's an official MS post of how to install Windows 11.
Social Media hyped this, for clicks, in reality this is not an issue.
I understand that you like Mac OS, more power to you!
