Why the i7-7700K is not supported?
Hi Microsoft, Do you have a single good reason to not support the i7-7700K? It run well on windows 10, why the heck it would not be supported on the 11? Does 4.2Ghz not enough to launch windows...

Thank you for sharing this, but I don't want a trick to update my computer.
I don't trust Microsoft anymore: they said Windows 10 would be the last, but this is a lie. I spend more that 2500€ for my computer, and 3 years after they say I need a new one.
Now I understand better why Windows cost only 20 bucks. They must have made a deal with Intel to force customer to buy new CPUs, this is very clever!
Microsoft noticed that users didn't want to pay for his product, so they made them pay anyway.
So Microsoft, hear me well: I will not throw my $500 CPU because you said so. You can keep your fancy new OS, I will switch to something else in a near future.
Regards

I cannot understand why you say this a matter of "trust". It's not a trick, it's an official MS post of how to install Windows 11.
Social Media hyped this, for clicks, in reality this is not an issue.
I understand that you like Mac OS, more power to you!

An official post that say: "At your own risks".
How can I trust such statement?
They lied about windows 10 being the last windows. What is the next lie? For my next computer should I spend $3000 on a PC that will last 3 years, because in a near future Microsoft will say that it is some garbage?- fm4711Jan 14, 2023Copper Contributor
I mainly use FreeBSD. I like Microsoft's SQL Server. But I guess I'll have to develop my software now against PostgreSQL.
- SoNic_67Dec 29, 2021Copper ContributorOK, come one... Windows 10 last windows??? Even in year 3000? That's why are you p***ed?
Similar threads were when Windows 95 appeared.
Not that it matters, but if you look at my above post attachment, the underlying of Windows 11 is Windows 10.- ShameOnYouMicrosoftDec 30, 2021Copper Contributor"We aren't speaking to future branding at this time, but customers can be confident Windows 10 will remain up-to-date and power a variety of devices from PCs to phones to Surface Hub to HoloLens and Xbox" "We look forward to a long future of Windows innovations."
