Why the i7-7700K is not supported?
I have upgraded Windows 10 to 11 on an even older CPU, using Microsoft Windows 11 Media USB stick and the registry edit from here (Other ways to install Windows 11 (not recommended):

- ShameOnYouMicrosoftDec 29, 2021Copper ContributorThank you for sharing this, but I don't want a trick to update my computer.
I don't trust Microsoft anymore: they said Windows 10 would be the last, but this is a lie. I spend more that 2500€ for my computer, and 3 years after they say I need a new one.
Now I understand better why Windows cost only 20 bucks. They must have made a deal with Intel to force customer to buy new CPUs, this is very clever!
Microsoft noticed that users didn't want to pay for his product, so they made them pay anyway.
So Microsoft, hear me well: I will not throw my $500 CPU because you said so. You can keep your fancy new OS, I will switch to something else in a near future.

I cannot understand why you say this a matter of "trust". It's not a trick, it's an official MS post of how to install Windows 11.
Social Media hyped this, for clicks, in reality this is not an issue.
I understand that you like Mac OS, more power to you!- ShameOnYouMicrosoftDec 29, 2021Copper Contributor
An official post that say: "At your own risks".
How can I trust such statement?
They lied about windows 10 being the last windows. What is the next lie? For my next computer should I spend $3000 on a PC that will last 3 years, because in a near future Microsoft will say that it is some garbage?
