Your admin could just add a secondary smtp address to his account and do a simple rule to move them all to a different folder. The invites should still show up on the calendar. You can also set the meeting invites to be auto accepted but unfortunately there is no granularity in which senders you can auto accept or deny. Good luck! leninmv2020 Hi, From what you are describing, it looks like you have chat disabled for guests in your policy and as you pointed out, a bunch of folks seem to be coming in as guests and not as registered users. How are folks being invited to the meeting? Are you just sharing out a link or are they invited to the actual meeting using the calendar as required attendees? Hi, While I cannot speak to why you are not getting enrolled to the free version of teams, I wanted to regarding the homework piece. Has the school assigned licenses to your kids that you are trying to login? Is the school info being disseminated using teams or are just meeting invites going out? If it is a meeting invite then you are able to join the meeting via a supported browser without signing up. You wont have features like blur your background and potentially a couple of other things but besides that they should be able to join live meetings. If your kids are given accounts by their school, they should be able to login via their school credentials without having to sign up for teams. Hope this answers at least part of your question. Sankarasubramanian Parameswaran There is not a way to have participants enter a meeting muted. Also, for privacy purposes, the organizer cannot unmute a user. Hi Justin, Is there a reason you are going back to Outlook? As long as your mailboxes are on O365, you should be able to access your calendar directly from Teams. You could do any of the following 1) Populate the student names on the required attendees portion under Calendar, New Meeting 2) From the Calendar. Click on meet now, join now, copy link, create a normal invitation via Outlook, paste the join URL Info 3) Same steps as 1 but then Choose the channel you want to meet under and all the members in the channel automatically get invited and the invitation is present on the channel chat You can also just convert your existing Outlook meetings into teams meetings. As an educator myself, I know that not one size fits all so I presented multiple options and folks choose what works best for them. Also, not sure if you've been creating class teams by hand, you might want to look at SDS. Fairly straight forward but does a lot of the roster creation work for you. Thanks Jason. I do have a full forms license assigned to me. I was able to resolve the issue a few days ago. I believe it is a bug with the integration. I was able to add custom forms when I added it to a team when I added it as a tab on the top. What was failing was when I tried to add it via the messaging extension options towards the bottom of the chat window. gkregan You might want to give that a try. Thanks again Jason for your input. WheelsBAI I am running 10.14 so I am not quite seeing the screen recording piece. I have had a similar issue where the cam and microphone were not working and I had to add the teams app to the accessibility portion from security and privacy. Wondering if your Mac is managed using an MDM and if the screen recording portion was protected by the MDM. Sokichi As the other user mentioned, your best bet might be a live event. In a live event, though, the modality is one to many so you lose some of the interactive nature of a live meeting. As for participant list, they are deploying the meeting attendee as you alluded to. You do have those options available today on a live meeting. The producer can access it from the meeting they scheduled or a teams admin or global admin can go to the teams admin portal and find the info under reports and analytics.3.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Forms not Loading in Teams
ChrisHoardMVP I am running into the same issue with our tenant. It does not allow me to create any new form besides the generic single question multiple answer form. It cannot pull up any of my existing forms. I have called MS support but have not made any progress. They think it is a machine issue despite informing that the issue persists on the web client, fat client and on three different machines on both Win 10 and Mac platforms.28KViews1like2Comments
