Re: ATP Legacy portal to defeder > missing events in timeline
josequintino The Azure AD Audit Logs are a much poorer representation of what was in the Defender for Identity classic portal for a user timeline and omit many details, particularly related to on-premise modifications. For example, in the case of a AD Connect hybrid environment the Azure AD audit log will only show that a sync happened from on-premise, but will not tell you the source account that made the modification. The Identity classic timeline will tell you exactly which on-premise account made the change. In another case, we had a user who's account password had expired. Azure AD Audit log shows nothing. In Defender for Identity ATP classic portal, it lists the exact time the users' password expired. It is by far the best administrative timeline available overall.5.3KViews1like1CommentRe: Introducing Scheduling poll in Outlook!
AmirHaque-MSFT many of our users are reporting that the FindTime app on the old Mac experience has stopped working. They receive a"unable to load plug in" error. This is different from what you posted regarding the transition experience.15KViews2likes8CommentsRe: Teams messages search function does not show full conversation
We have already talked about this. When someone posts about "Chat", you don't need to barge in every time and complain about channels. Yes, I use channels. AS WE HAVE ALREADY DISCUSSED - channel posts are not meant to be chronological, and you should be using Replies to keep all related conversation within a channel thread. If you are trying to find unrelated chronological channel posts in search, then yeah, you'll have a problem. When I pull up a channel post, I typically see all the replies in the search. Yes, before you complain again - I know you want to see all the other channel posts. Everyone knows it. Just keep using slack.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Teams messages search function does not show full conversation
When I pull up an old channel message (e.g. from 2020) in Search, I do see the conversation history (replies) in the search. I probably would prefer it jump to the channel, but it's not as bad as the chat search. Channel messages sort by most recent activity/comment by default, so there is no automatic relationship in terms of context between entirely different channel postings.5.1KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Teams messages search function does not show full conversation
All, This was posted earlier in this thread, but the preferred workaround is: - Locate the chat that you are trying to search, or where the singular message resides. - "Pop" it out into a separate window. - Go back to search results, and click on the message to go to it. Now, the message will be shown in the popped out window in full context. It is a silly limitation and shows that they can fix this issue, but for some reason nobody has taken the time to do so.5.2KViews0likes5CommentsRe: Emergency Locations, Port Data, and physical phones
Curious if you (or anyone) ever saw this working on a Teams Phone, or a Windows 11 based computer. I have an open ticket since December regarding both. A Win10 laptop plugged into the same port gets the Port ID fine, but two Win11 computers as well as a Teams Phone fail to use the port-based location/chassisID.4.4KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Teams messages search function does not show full conversation
This is half true. If you search for a conversation from several years ago you will see it hangs and takes a long time to show anything. I believe it still loads the entire conversation back to that point hence the huge delay. Terrible design.4.8KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Emergency Locations, Port Data, and physical phones
I am still having issues with phones not respecting Lldp, as well as win11 computers. For win11 I tried two systems with my username logged in and both would only detect by subnet and not lldp. I plugged in a win10 laptop with same teams client version and it picked up right away. Microsoft had been promising me info for a week but got nothing for me yet.4.4KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Teams messages search function does not show full conversation
WhatupYo Is that Q4 of the calendar year (e.g. next month) or their fiscal year? đŸ™‚ Fiscal year would be by June 30 2022 lol. This is a better response than I anticipated though. They usually are delayed on everything, but at least its supposedly on their radar.6.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Now in public preview: Presenter Mode ‘Standout’ for PowerPoint Live
Kaushal-Mehta Hi Kaushal - is it expected that all of the audience members also have to have Preview features enabled in order to see the overlay? If so, hopefully this gets rolled out to GA quickly as most users don't turn on preview.
