Changing the Sharepoint landing page link from the Office 365 apps banner icon
Hello, Does anyone know how to change the URL that is linked to the SharePoint icon in the Apps banner at www.office.com? It currently links to an older SharePoint site that we would like to retire for a new, Modern SharePoint page. I don't see any place to change the default landing page in O365, O365 Admin, or SharePoint Admin centers. @ OP Did you ever find a satisfactory answer or come to your own conclusion on this? We are also dabbling with the Modern UI for a SharePoint overhaul and I just encountered the same issue where the Modern Team site has far more Web Part options than the Modern Communications site. Most glaringly missing is the Wiki Page Library option. Just wanted to see where this goes, not sure why Microsoft has built in so many forks and dead ends into what should really only be cosmetic template differences! Thanks for the reply. We are simply trying to change the default text size for a web part. There doesn't seem to be any easy way to do this as a user must configure the text size each time for each new web part. I'm trying to change the default font size for our Site Collection, specifically Wiki text and I found this useful post on this forum: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/SharePoint/How-do-I-change-the-default-font-size-for-wiki-pages-in/td-p/37477 We're using O365 SharePoint and a Modern UI for our Site Collection, and eventually I was able to navigate to Site Settings > Site Collection Features. When I try to Activate SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure, it fails giving a Technical error. I'm trying to activate this feature so I can get access to the Master Pages and change the default CSS for our Wiki Site. I can see on our older Intranet Site Collection with the legacy UI that this Master Pages feature is available. Any ideas? Thanks!13KViews0likes8Comments
