Discover how PKSHA benefits from using Copilot for Microsoft 365 across their teams, including customer success. This team manages dozens of weekly client calls and uses Copilot for call preparation, note-taking, and meeting recaps. One employee reported spending 3-4 hours analyzing data to prepare for a single customer call, and now can do that same work in under an hour. With the time she saves, she’s now able to be more proactive with her customers and deliver a higher quality of service. Is anyone else using Copilot to save time and provide faster customer service? Share your use cases in the comments, we are always looking for small and medium businesses to highlight through these stories!Re: Best way to set up computers for new employees in small office
Hi chill0907, Great question! With Office 2021, it’s a onetime purchase per PC or Mac, meaning the license is linked to computer not a user. Once you activate on that computer no Microsoft account is required. However, there are benefits to logging in, such as saving to the OneDrive App. Based on what you provided, activating the account with a telephone instead might be a better option. I recommend thinking about whether the computer is tied to a single employee, or if it could end up being a shared computer. Licensing individual users instead of each computer may be a better fit in the long run. You mentioned this is for work, and so you may want to consider some of the business plans, so that you can purchase more as your business begins to grow. Here is a comparison chart to reference. Buy Microsoft Office 2021 | Microsoft 365. Business Basic is not listed on the chart, but if your new hire only needs web versions of the core apps, that is another option to consider. Here are some additional resources that might also help with your situation. Hi Niall_O Great question! I’ve seen small businesses use the apps included in the Microsoft 365 Business suites in really creative ways. In fact, Industrialized Construction Group, a start-up construction firm had a similar idea to use Power BI, Excel and Planner to create their own accounting and project management system. For this specific question, we’re looking for the right SMEs to provide the right guidance, please give us a few days for someone to jump in. We moved your post to the Small and Medium Business community, so more people interested in SMB content can see it.Getting started on the Small and Medium Businesses Community
