Storage metrics SharePoint Online

Hi, I made a copy of document library that takes about 150GB. Copy of it, yesterday was taking about 119GB but today it takes about 200GB. Why it happens? In my opinion copy should take as much as original library? Why it at begging was showing it takes less place now it takes more?

    I'm guessing version control, files have been changed or moved multiple times and each version of the file is the same size, so if you change a powerpoint 10 times and it's 10mb, it's gonna take upp 100mb
