Set a limit on certain file types via sharepoint.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen

Is there a way to create a limit on certain file types via sharepoint. I would like to prevent certain file types from being opened as soon as someone opens it. It is about a specific file format in a CAD programm. It should only be possible to open these read-only after someone open it.

Unfortunately, this is not possible with the out of the box capabilities of SharePoint.
