Jason1900 You can set the sort order for columns from classic experience list view settings.
- Click on settings (gear) icon
- Select "List settings"
- Go to "Views" section
- Select your view by clicking on it
- Apply sort order as per your requirements and click "OK"

gojo12 As per my knowledge, I don't see anything on roadmap related to the board views for document libraries.
