Hello,
We are looking for a solution related to the synchronization issue. All files are stored on the SharePoint Online library. The library is Sync on users' local machines with OneDrive. Sometimes there were issues with synchronization so users were overwriting each other changes. Then the option "Require documents to be checked out before they can be edited" was enabled on the library, to make sure that only one user can edit a document. If we are using Office 2016 then everything is just fine - CheckOut is possible from the desktop app (as below)
Unfortunately, all users are working on Office 365 for Win 10 version. The option to Check Out document directly from the app is missing. Even if the option was dragged out to the ribbon, the option is greyed out.
Any Idea how to manage Require Checkout when using library Sync by OneDrive and Desktop App?
