Outlook 365 Group email quirk
Dear Tony Redmond,
Thank you for the reply, and explanation. Since these emails are originating from a Group, instead of an individual, I am wondering if there is no way to stop (follow-up) emails from being sent as a conversation.
Thanks again for all your help.
The simple answer is No (automatically). The group distributes messages to anyone who subscribes to the group and that information is in the message header. When someone replies to one of these messages, the client extracts the information from the message header to know who should receive the replies. It is up to the user who creates the message to decide who receives the message and they can certainly remove the group name from the reply, in which case only the other recipients will get the response. But you have to edit the recipient list yourself.
