Task is not created if "My Day" / "Important" lists are used
Hi, I'm having a weird issue currently and I believe it's not a "sync" issue. I have a personal and a business account logged in my iOS app. I also have each of these in the desktop app which allows me to quickly verify sync. In my personal account, everything works great. In my business account, whenever I add a task under "My Day" or "Important", it does not get synced upstream. It shows in my mobile for some time and then disappears and it never pup in my desktop. If instead, I add the task under some actual list (like default Tasks), it does get synced. Also, if I add under "my day" and then edit it to assign to "Tasks" list too (for example), it gets synced as soon as added. Any tasks added via desktop app work well and they are picked up by the mobile app. One thing I noticed that happens in the desktop app is that when I create a task under Important or My Day, they get assigned the default list "Tasks". When I create them in the mobile they don't get assigned any list by default. And when I force the list, it works. So it seems the issue is that those tasks are not getting the default list. Also, on the iOS using my personal account, this does NOT happen. If I create a task under Important, it DOES get "Tasks" list assigned to it (and properly syncs up). I've been looking at app settings trying to understand if there's a "default list" setting but I could not find any. Hello everyone, We share a ToDo with my colleagues and I deleted some tasks by mistake. I tried to restore them but whitout success. I cannot find any place where those deleted items went. I tried a lot a of solutions found on the net but none of them worked. I also point out that those tasks were not mine. So I am looking for some help. Does anyone have an idea or even a solution about that?Problem with task reminders and alarms
Hi, I've been using Microsoft To-Do for a long time. Problem: Whenever there is a time change (like "savings" time to standard time or vice-versa), recurring task reminders occur 1 hour before/after the time that I appointed them. For example. I have a recurring task reminder every night at 11:30pm to take some medication. Because of the recent time change, I'm starting to get those reminders at 10:30 p.m. even though the reminder time is still set to 11:30 p.m. nightly. The only remedy that I think works, is to disable the reminder and set a new one. This problem has existed for quite a while. I was just wanting to officially report it per se. Thank you in advance for fixing this.ksgwxfanNov 04, 2024Copper Contributor30Views0likes0CommentsTransfer all ToDo files to new account

Hi, we just started using to-do and we cannot share lists because the sharing links are not working. When trying to open a sharing link likehttps://to-do.microsoft.com/sharing?InvitationToken=px7Tnbu.... which will redirect tohttps://to-do.office.com/tasks/sharing?InvitationToken=px7Tnbu.... we only ever get HTTP ERROR 500. Actually, the base URLhttps://to-do.office.com/tasks/ already does not work, and we can't access to-do web-app.We tried different browsers, devices and Internet access points. We use the free to-do version, and do not have an office365 subscription. Is this related? Windows and Android apps are working fine. Does anyone else have this problem and/or a solution to this? I love the functionality of using "steps" within a task in "TO DO." However, when observing my tasks on my task list, I think it would be helpful to be able to see the steps underneath the task. The step list wouldn't need to be as pronounced as individual tasks. They could show up small... like the "1 of 3" steps completed notation shows up under the task... But being able to see the steps from the task list would be FANTASTIC.... Not to get picky, but it would be cool to be able to toggle the steps view on and off for a given task. (So maybe it shows up as a status (1 of 3 steps completed) but you could hit a drop down arrow that lets you see the list. Being able to check them off from that view would also be preferable. One last thought. Steps wouldn't necessarily have to disappear from the view (underneath the task) when they are completed... It would actually be helpful for them to remain listed (just like they do when you "expand a task" in case you complete steps in a different order. What I'm asking for is already present. The list of steps is visible when you click on a task. I just think it would be helpful if those steps could be visible ON the task list.jbrown2130Nov 04, 2024Copper Contributor764Views2likes1CommentTo Do doubling tasks & tasks not deleting
Whenever I create a task in Microsoft To-Do, it seems to create the same task twice. Also, sometimes when I mark tasks as complete and return to the app later, they reappear in my tasks list as incomplete. Very frustrating.jwood2330Nov 02, 2024Copper Contributor44Views0likes0CommentsMissing Categories in Microsoft To Do Apps: Any Updates?
Hello everyone, I've been using the Microsoft To Do app and wanted to discuss an issue regarding the category/tag functionality in task lists. Recently, Microsoft introduced an update allowing the addition of customizable tags to each task within a list. I have successfully configured and assigned these categories via the web interface using a browser. However, I noticed that the categories/tags assigned through the web do not appear in the Microsoft To Do apps for Android, iOS, and Microsoft Store. This makes it challenging to find specific tasks when using these apps. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there any update on when this functionality will be synchronized with the mobile and Microsoft Store apps? Thanks in advance for your help!edilsonpilatiNov 01, 2024Copper Contributor836Views2likes2Commentssuggestion: allow step to have more details
I wanted to suggest adding to each steps, more descriptions or even better, steps could contains sub step. Similar to point form where you can add infinite subpoints, this would be useful the same way it is to have many levels in a point form. Or is there already a way to do so? I'm still new with this.cherrysa2015Nov 01, 2024Copper Contributor43Views0likes0Comments
