I am currently utilizing the latest version of MS Teams with my company account. For added security, my company has configured multi-factor authentication (mfa), and I use Microsoft Authenticator to log in to Teams. I have also been granted a Teams guest account from one of our clients, which also has mfa enabled. The client's company also uses Microsoft Authenticator for added security, and my guest account has been set up with mfa as well.
I have added my guest account to the New MS Teams client, but when I attempt to access the account within Teams, it redirects me to my company's mfa instead of the guest mfa. This issue seems to be specific to the New MS Teams client, as I am able to successfully log in with my guest account on the browser.
Has there been any acknowledgment of this issue with the New MS Teams client?

Anyone knows how to resolve this or it can be marked as a bug?

SolutionHi @mohammad_Tayib,
can you try to do the following (do this while the New Microsoft Teams are running):
Open every single location with Windows Start + R (Run) and delete everything in the location:
%LocalAppData%\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe
%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\OneAuth
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\TokenBroker
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\IdentityCache
This should remove all active logged in users in your Microsoft Teams Client.
Then, log out from the Microsoft Teams and sign-in with the "main" user you are using.
After you sign-in, click on Add another account and add your guest account and check if the issue still exists.

Hi @mohammad_Tayib,
thanks for the update.
I can't provide you the instructions how to remove all users from Microsoft Teams, but you can try to clear the cache:
If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit or press Command (⌘)-Q.
Open Terminal. You can do this by pressing Command + Space and typing Terminal.
Enter the following commands in Terminal, pressing Return after each command:
rm -rf ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.com.microsoft.teams
rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.teams2
4. Restart Teams.
Let me know if it helped.
