This Microsoft Teams tutorial will demonstrate how to delete a chat conversation in Microsoft Teams. In December 2022 Microsoft finally added the ability to delete conversations from the Microsoft Teams app. Prior to this user's we're only able to hide chat conversations from the chat menu. It is important to note that deleting a Microsoft Teams chat conversation does not delete all messages that you sent to the recipient and it does not remove the chat conversation from the recipients chat menu. It is also important to note that if you shared any files in a chat conversation, deleting the chat will not revoke access to those files. To do this you need to go into your Microsoft OneDrive and revoke access to them directly.
To Delete A Chat Conversation in Teams simply right click on the chat and click delete. Confirm that you want to delete the chat and it will be deleted.
