Time Limits for Students Conversation to Working Hours
Hello,
We have launched the user of Microsoft Teams but students have already been starting to abuse the system and are having unrelated chats within the subjects late into the night.
This means that we don't have staff to moderate the chats after school is closed - Therefore leaving it open to bullying.
Is there any way of putting in a Time Limit in a policy that will block my student groups from being able to start of reply to conversations after a certain time?
Thanks for your help,
Peter
Hi,
No currently there is no such setting. There is an uservoice requsting this for Office 365 (including Teams).
Channel moderation might help you a bit. Turn on that only owners can use messaging in a channel when the day ends.

You could also look into turning off 1:1 chats, so that students can't create private chats.
But if you turn off features the problem will only move to another platform, so turning off chat in Teams won't stop the bullying problem.
