Straightforward request - logging in online with multiple accounts
Hi
I hope this is a really straightforward question and one that has a really simple answer.
I am a freelance consultant and I work with several different organisations, a few of which use Microsoft Teams.
Two of these organisations have given me guest logins to their Teams systems so that I can participate in meetings, conversations etc.
The biggest problem I have had is logging in!
I am often on the move and using different computers so I want to be able to use the web-based version of Teams. I don't have Teams on my laptop.
So I go to https://teams.microsoft.com/.
However, when I do that the webpage always redirects to one of these organisations and tries to login me in there. But I don't want to go there - I want to choose a different organisation to login to.
How do I do that?
It is really annoying and means I really struggle to use Teams regularly.
I have tried many different things including using the Android version of Teams on my phone but to no avail.
Other clients of mine use Google Workspace and I don't have any problems like this. I just select the relevant account and I am logged in. That is what I want to achieve. Slack makes this easy too - it just presents a list of organisations to choose from.
I think it might be because there's something I don't understand about how Teams operates with different organisational domains? Or perhaps its to do with the difference between institutional and personal accounts? Or something? Frankly I am baffled, even though I have used office systems like Teams all my working life with no problems.
My ideal would be to find a single webpage where I can choose which organisation to login in to. But any ideas or advice would help at this stage.
Thanks in advance
Pete

There is a solution that might solve this issue. Currently there is a beta of a tool running that allows (according to them) to display all messages on one dashboard, from multiple Teams accounts, if desired. Maybe this is helpful. https://www.profeed.work/en

- StickInsectCopper ContributorOh, I think I may have discovered the issue.
On a whim, I tried use an incognito browser window, and there it was - the option to login to my Microsoft account.
And when I logged in I was again offered the choice of which organisation to join.
Instead of only being offered the login of the organisation I didn't want to access.
So, is this right? I have to use an incognito window, or I guess clearing my cookies between every session might do it too?
Is there a better way? I don't think it's ideal to have to do that.- Mitchell BakkerIron ContributorDid you also tried to setup multiple profiles in your browser? Chrome and Edge are supporting this.
