Straightforward request - logging in online with multiple accounts
- Dec 12, 2022Did you also tried to setup multiple profiles in your browser? Chrome and Edge are supporting this.
I wrote a blog about this a while ago, maybe this helps you

On a whim, I tried use an incognito browser window, and there it was - the option to login to my Microsoft account.
And when I logged in I was again offered the choice of which organisation to join.
Instead of only being offered the login of the organisation I didn't want to access.
So, is this right? I have to use an incognito window, or I guess clearing my cookies between every session might do it too?
Is there a better way? I don't think it's ideal to have to do that.

I had a quick think about this, and read your blog post. Thanks.
I think the two workarounds we have identified are OK for now:- use an incognito or 'private' window
- use multiple profiles.
I don't use Edge, I do use Chrome.
In Chrome, you're absolutely right I can use a Guest profile each time. Unlike incognito you can only have one guest profile running at a time, but like incognito all cookies etc are lost when you close the last window. And therefore I can access the login menu.
I guess I could also create a totally different profile (not a guest profile) but a permanent one. The challenge with this is just complexity - because profiles are synced across my multiple devices there is even more chance I will get confused - and find myself in the wrong profile. So I generally avoid multiple profiles.
And overall, these are only both work arounds. I would prefer to be in my normal Chrome profile, and not incognito, because then I have access to all the other tools I usually have in that browser profile.
So I think it would be much better if Microsoft sorted this out for us.And just gave us a simple login menu, on which I can choose which organisation I want to work with, like the one in Slack. E.g.
I know hoping Microsoft will change something can be a forlorn hope! But thanks again for your help in the short-term.
