Start a meeting from a URL

The below link describes how to launch teams and begin scheduling a meeting from a URL. Is there a way to simulate the "Meet Now > Start meeting" button in teams via URL? In other words, I would like to have a URL that I can click in a 3rd party application and immediately be brought into a new meeting.

  • Hi, this is something I've never used myself but if you're asking for a meeting link to a Meet now that's available by just copying the meeting link when pressing the Meet now button by selecting the "Get a link to share".

ChristianBergstrom Thanks for the reply! In my case, I'd like to launch a new meeting from a 3rd party application and not start the process from within teams.

For example, the following link will open up teams and begin the scheduling process with a meeting titled "test".

      https://teams.microsoft.com/l/meeting/new?subject=test

I would like a similar link that simply launches into a "meet now" meeting. In other words, take me straight to the following screen from a URL clicked in a 3rd party application.

Hello, as I mentioned I've never used the procedure. What about if you just set the Meet now up one time only to get the meeting link, would that work?
