Profile Picture is not syncing for team meetings.

The following seemed to work for me in forcing the profile picture in Teams meetings to update
- Log into Teams from the web https://teams.microsoft.com
- Update your profile picture from the web UI
- In Teams desktop ... sign out of teams
- Close Teams desktop
- Re-open and sign-in to Teams Desktop

What if this solution doesn't work?
I've done this, updated my photo on office.com as well, I've cleared the app cache, I've even uninstalled Teams and reinstalled it.
Even still, on the desktop app, I see my new photo until I enter a meeting and it goes back to the old one. On the web browser, if I use that for meetings, it shows my new one.
I'm at a total loss.
