How to name or rename the General channel in Teams

Question

You can encourage your users to provide a meaningful name to General channels in their teams. 
The General channel can be renamed by the team owners to show up in the teams' and channels' list of all members in alphabetical order.

Hi,&nbsp;GiulianoDeLuca&nbsp;Some questions about this..- Can this feature (ability to rename general channel) be turned off?Wondering how this will affect our Power Automate flow as we have a General channel template that we apply to sites as needed, but if they have ability to rename then it might break this template functionality?- Will renaming the general channel also rename the "General" channel folder that is stored in SharePoint?Josh

Hi JoshuaF570,Fom what i can see, is that it is not possible to turn this feature off.If you renaming the general folder it will also rename the general folder name. i just tested it.regards,Jordy

Thank-you Giuliano,Any suggestions for how to make this work for a flow that previously templated the General Channel with tabs/etc.? Concerned about how we can do templating to a channel now that any channel can be renamed to anything so it's hard to setup flow when before it was easy to just template the "General" channel.
