How to use the New Calendar in Teams
The new Calendar app in Microsoft Teams aims to provide a unified and seamless calendar experience for both Teams and Outlook users. It introduces advanced features such as a new command bar with primary actions, the ability to Meet Now and Join with ID, and new functionalities like filters, month view, split view, customizable time scales, saved views, sharing options, printing capabilities, and personalized settings. Enhanced meeting creation allows for quick scheduling from the calendar's quick view or the new scheduling form, with improved options and a refreshed look. Users can access meeting artifacts directly from the calendar, including recaps of completed meetings. The app also integrates weather information for your current location and work plan integration with Microsoft Places, allowing you to specify work locations and check teammates' availability in the office. The Place Finder feature helps you switch between floors and view different room capabilities when creating new events. Additionally, you can pop out the calendar for more efficient multitasking by right-clicking the Calendar icon. This feature is enabled by default. Hello We have configured Team Shared Calling. It works by name but not by extension Licences have been given and also user can do outbound calling But Inbound is only working by name and not by extension Does the User have phone number and extension be inserted in AD? Looking for a few universities or schools to help with pilot testing of AI chat from MS Teams
We have recently developed a Microsoft Teams application that is available from the MS Teams App Store: Last month, we added the ability for our app to ingest files (pdf, word, excel, etc..) and include these documents as part of a conversational AI search. We are looking for a few universities, or large schools, to help pilot the application (Chime V5) , provide feedback, and generally review the file ingestion and conversational experience. On the back-end, we are using Azure Open AI, Azure Bot service, and the application is designed to install into the left side navigator of the MS Teams client. Hi, I have an iPad Air 5 with M1 processor & I have spotted a couple of bugs when using MS Teams from his device: 1. I cannot share the extended display when in an MS Teams meeting. I can only share the iPad screen. 2. Sometimes when joining an MS Teams meeting, i'm the only one there, even though people are present in the meeting already. Participants can collaborate in real time, create an agenda, take notes, and add tasks. When participants are assigned a task in the meeting, they will also receive an email notification and it will be synchronized with the Planner and To Do apps. Meeting organizers will also see an ability to add Collaborative notes before meetings, to prepare by adding agendas or other materials in one place. After the meeting, Collaborative notes will remain accessible for all participants on the Teams calendar meeting details page.
