Help - Notifications in Teams mobile

Copper Contributor

Is there a way to turn off email notifications for firstline workers without them having to log into a desktop app to modify those notifications themselves? I work in healthcare and a lot of physicians will never login to the desktop and we do not want them having emails in addition to mobile notifications. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @katielunger

Sure. Login to the web app at https://teams.microsoft.com. Then follow this guide to stop email notifications

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/manage-notifications-in-teams-1cc31834-5fe5-412b-8edb-43f...

Unfortunately, notifications are not centrally managed and so this one is down to users. There are uservoices to add central management of notifications such as this one which I have voted on

https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/38928544-allow-us-to-manage-te...

So recommend to vote on this and you'll be notified if it gets picked up. Otherwise, it will be the above method to get around the desktop app
