Data Compiler

I am looking to take a bunch of info from various tabs and link it together into one presentation type slide for metric and performance tracking. Does anyone have suggestions?

What apps are you using? How are you linking them? We're attempting to track task completions whether late or on time, task duration, team or person responsible etc.

I am looking for a more bullet proof way of doing this than using an excel document which I have used in the past and although nice it can get tedious
