Consult to Transfer doesn't put caller on hold
When our receptionist answers the phone, clicks Consult to Transfer, usually the caller would be put on hold so our receptionist can provide info to the person she is consulting with. However lately, she has clicked on Consult to Transfer and the caller never gets put on hold and the caller can hear the conversation our receptionist is having with the other employee.
Anyone know why this is happening and how to prevent it from happening?

Is the receptionist using a specific model of the Teams Certified Phone? Please check with the receptionist if she makes the transfer from the desktop app is the issue still there?
Seems to be issue with the IP Phone is Phone is involved.

Our receptionist has a Yealink Model MP56 phone.
However, she never uses the phone, she always uses her headset or laptop to pick up the phone calls and always uses her laptop to put calls on hold, consult to transfer, and everything else.
Leannadoray990 How do calls come in, I'm going to guess it's from an SBC rather than a calling plan? This kind of fault would seem to be in the SBC configuration.
