Can't click join button from another device
Hello,
I have teams installed on two different devices (a pc and laptop) and when I join a one-to-one meeting, sometimes I want to add my other device to share my screen from. But when I click the join button that pops up, it doesn't do anything.
this button:
I'm pretty sure I was able to do this before (can't give an accurate timeframe when, but i'm pretty sure in January I was able to do this).
P.S: joining from another device works well in scheduled meetings, just not in one on one adhoc calls, even when we try to add another person

I've been using this feature with no problems until recently and all of a sudden clicking 'Join now' does nothing. I'm using the 'new' teams

yes, this has started to happen to me as well, Microsoft probably pushed a new update that broke things and we will just have to wait until another update fixes it.
- aaboelfCopper ContributorI've tested this now and it seems to be working fine, looks like it got fixed with the latest update

Still a problem as of 3/9/23 - looking forward to the fix! This is a critical bug.
- OldMarineGunnyCopper Contributoryou and me both, it is a pain without it.
- OldMarineGunnyCopper ContributorThis is still being worked by Microsoft. Latest update from their website is listed below.

Title: Users may be unable to use the 'Join a Teams call on a second device' feature in Microsoft Teams
User impact: Users may be unable to use the 'Join a Teams call on a second device' feature in Microsoft Teams.
Current status: We’re nearing the final testing and validation stages for our code fix, which we expect to be ready to deploy to the affected infrastructure by the time of the next scheduled update.
Scope of impact: Impact may be specific to any user who is served through the affected infrastructure attempting to utilize the 'Join a Teams call on a second device' feature in Microsoft Teams.
Start time: Monday, February 27, 2023, 3:00 AM (9:00 AM UTC)
Root cause: A code regression within a recent service update is preventing users from using the 'Join a Teams call on a second device' feature within Microsoft Teams.

Also having this same issue and has been happening for most of March. Occasionally I can join on two devices but more often this button is not bringing up the add device dialog. Normally I have to join on my phone to do audio as our IT department doesn't appear to support our laptop audio setup well, then I like to add my laptop to view and/or share my screen without audio.
Observationally it appears that scheduled meetings I am able to join mostly, but the adhoc unscheduled meetings this join button appear to not work during "peak" work hours.
- jstoppaCopper ContributorI'm having the same issue for a week or so

Not working for me either. Huge bug for me....
- OldMarineGunnyCopper ContributorThere is a Service Advisory on this issue in the O365 Admin center. They are aware and are working the issue.

aaboelf Same problem here. I hate that this is broken, but I am relieved its not just me! This problem started for me either Tuesday, Feb 28th, or possibly existed as long ago as Friday, Feb 24th. I assume a Teams change was pushed just prior to that because I join calls across devices every day and it worked just a few days ago. VERY frustrating.
