I'm using the desktop app for Microsoft teams on windows ten, when I try to use the camera in calls it will briefly work while joining then go to a black screen once I enter the call. The camera works on other programs and when I do a test call it works. I have also checked permissions so I don't know what the problem is.

SolutionHello @GThomas770 First, you'll want to make sure you are using an approved device for Teams https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/across-devices/devices
Then you may benefit from watching a how-to video regarding video settings, like this one: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Best+video+settings+for+Teams&docid=608029586371838123&mid=80AD...
Finally, you could search the community for "camera not working" to see other posts that may be applicable to your situation.

I have the same issue with a Surface Pro 6.
Camera works fine in other apps. Works fine in Teams web app and when making test call but when joining a meeting while using desktop app it will go black and sometimes freeze Teams.

Did you ever find a solution for this? Preview working but Meeting video does not?
