Any way to trick Outlook into launching the Teams PWA instead of the desktop app?
I recently switched to the Teams progressive web app instead of the desktop app based on some evidence that it consumes far less CPU and memory (on a 2021 MBP M1 Max). So far it is working great. The only complaint I have is that Outlook always launches the Teams desktop app (as it should—I wouldn't expect otherwise).
I would really, really like to somehow trick Outlook into launching the PWA instead. As it is, I frequently forget, hit "Join Online," and then have to quit Teams and switch to the PWA where I launch my meeting from the Calendar tab. Any clever hacks or workaround here to get Outlook to launch the PWA? (I'm not optimistic, but maybe someone here has figured something out. . .)

Hi brg36 I found this unverified article on how to disable the automatic launch of the desktop app but you can try searching for automatic launch of the PWA. https://www.guidingtech.com/stop-microsoft-teams-starting-automatically-windows-10/
