Now in public preview: Detailed call history
Description We have updated the previous 1 to 1 call history to now involve richer context and details. Now in Call History, a user can see group calls and all participants involved, calls that were transferred, and calls that were forwarded. Additionally, there has been added a new Timeline section where further details on each call can be seen after clicking on the call record in the history section. In the Timeline, a user will get further context on who answered the call, and the duration and start and end times of the call as well. Flighting status Started flighting. Hi there, my org is currently on public preview and the latest version is 25017.203.3370.1174. We are running few chatbot apps withing the org and since the updates, we see that the file attachment option in our chatbot app is either disabled for everyone or inconstant for few users. Checked the manifest and mad suer the file operations attribute is set to "true". No idea what's causing this issue!kaushik_muralidaranFeb 06, 2025Copper Contributor60Views0likes0CommentsNew Teams cannot be set to start automatically
Since I started using the New Teams I have not been able to toggle the setting to start the client automatically when I login to Windows. When trying to click the setting nothing happens. There will not even be a tick in the box. If I switch back to the "old" teams, the setting is working. All the other settings can be toggled and working. Hi all, Anyone else, that has problem with screen sharing in the current preview version? My Teams Version: 25007.606.3361.4724 My Clientversion: 49/25010620407 If i share my screen (regardless if full monitor or single app), the other users only see, that I am trying to share something, but never get the content visible. The only users that can see my content shared, are using the preview version as well. I tested it with one normal user and one with preview in the same call. The latter one was able to see the screen, the other one not. I have found a workaround right now: If I am in a call with a normal user, I can share the screen, if we start recording for a few seconds and stop it then. As long as recording has run at least for a few seconds, everyone can see my shared screen. I faced that issue for the first time last week.StarblazingJan 21, 2025Copper Contributor222Views1like0CommentsTeams Performance issues on Mac
Teams for mac seems incredibly slow after an update done yesterday (Nov 13 2024). I don't know if this is when the update was pushed, or just when my client updated. However after performing the update, teams is super slow to launch on my M2 Max macbook pro. Also I can't adjust my away status, as when i click on the persons head, I have no options other than sign out. The status seems to be stuck on unknown. I have deleted teams completely/reinstalled. I also tried signing out > back in, and still doesn't work. I signed into teams on my windows PC and there are no issues, so seems to be mac related. Dear Microsoft, Ever since the launch of the Apple Silicon machines, macOS users have been using the macOS native app of Teams via Rosetta 2. Due to that, the application is consuming a great amount of memory when compared to the Edge PWA of the Microsoft Teams web app. In my day-to-day I can notice that the Microsoft Teams app is in total consuming 2,10GB, however, if I hop into a call that number increases to 3,10GB.. If the video camera is turned on it goes beyond 3,30GB. Besides memory, there's also the battery life component where teams are my highest energy usage app on my Macbook Pro 14" with the M1 Pro chip. due to that my battery life only lasts up to 5-6 hours maximum. Additionally, I noticed during a video call my M1 Pro (GPU) is being used by around 80-90% when using the webcam. I understand developing a 'Universal App' takes time but I would like to ask ahead of the 'Performance' event what are your plans for the macOS users because we have been enduring this for the last 2 years ever since the M1 machines come out. Could you possibly let us know of a possible Beta Preview version of a universal app or an up-to-date Electron version that supports performance improvements? Please point me in the right direction so I can upload logs/stats regarding performance to further help you improve the product and assist the development team if needed.TheCloudSAPEngineerDec 23, 2024Copper Contributor4.6KViews1like4CommentsNow in Public preview & Targeted release: Introducing zooming controls while viewing screenshare

We’re excited to share that Microsoft Teams Public Preview users can now use collaborative meeting notes. Collaborative meeting notes in Teams meetings Microsoft Teams is dedicated to offering features that make meetings more efficient. With Collaborative notes, meeting attendees can work together to create agendas, take notes, and generate action items. Loop components allow you to collaborate right inside a chat message in Microsoft Teams. Using the Collaborative notes Loop component, you can collaborate with others and keep everyone updated as notes as synchronized across all devices. Also note tasks assigned using Collaborative notes are automatically synchronized with To Do and Planner, providing an efficient way to manage tasks and streamline workflows. How it works Schedule a meeting from Teams and include an agenda To add a recurring, standing agenda to all meeting instances while scheduling in Teams, at the bottom of the form, click the Add an agenda everyone can edit option. Follow up after a meeting All your Collaborative notes are Loop components that can easily be shared from your meeting across Microsoft 365 like in Team chats and Outlook. The notes stay in sync as changes are made across apps. This fall, the integration of Loop components with OneNote will enable you to seamlessly incorporate your Collaborative notes into your OneNote notebooks. You’ll have the freedom to continue editing these notes within OneNote, helping you consolidate your meeting notes in a single, centralized notebook. To view your notes, click the filename you want in Teams. You can go to Microsoft 365 and search for the relevant meeting name to view your notes.
