Classic Theme - Can't use dark them for meetings

Appearance settings have changed. "Always use dark theme for calls and meetings" no longer works when selecting the "Classic" theme. It does work for "Light" theme. When Classic theme is selected the "Always use..." setting is grayed out.

(Light theme title bars are hard to read (extremely poor contrast) so I have been using Classic theme. Dark theme works very well in meetings, but I don't like it for anything else in Teams)

Viva Engage Community Notifications

The communities are showing in the teams chat view, which is great! However, why don't notifications appears in the chat view for a new post? That's one big pain point right now before rolling this out company wide. Thoughts? Pending Updates? Workarounds?

Lost navigation bar

Viva Engage Communities Integration Not Available

Does anyone know if Engage Communities Teams integration is still rolling out in Public Preview? I know that the GA rollout has been delayed to May.

I have some users in Targeted Release and some others with Public Preview turned on, and none of them sees this feature. I've followed the steps in "Admin requirements for Viva Engage experiences in Teams" and "How to Set Viva Engage experiences in Teams" in this Microsoft Learn article to no avail.

Remote Access in Pro Portal not working with Public Preview R3.6

When I try to use Remote Access via the Pro Portal, I can connect to the MTR but the image is flashing. I cant seem to have a stable session with the MTR.

The screen will go to black for around 5 seconds, then it shows what is on the screen for less then 1 second.

I tried it on 2 MTR devices that I have in our labo but the issue remains.

When I revert the option for Public Preview back to off, I am able to connect and use Remote Access via the Pro Portal without any issue.

We are using MTRoW and have the latest updates.

Issue with missing Teams in Chat section after 25227.201.3887.7121

After my upgrade to 25227.201.3887.7121 I can't access teams I am part of.

If I restart the client, I see the teams under chat for few hours then they disappear again in a while.

Sometimes the top menu flashes and disappears.

I did some troubleshooting, but I can't roll back the teams version to try. Nothing worked on this version atleast to get the library switcher back.

Call Transfer: Search not showing Global Contacts or Speed Dials

Anyone else experiencing an issue with the list of possible recipients for a call transfer?

The search list for call transfer only shows tenant users, it doesn't include any of the global contacts, individual's contacts, or Speed Dials.

WE're currently on 25153.1005.3719.1487 and have just noticed when you try to consult before transfer, when you choose the user to consult with, their image has lost the presence indicator. Allways used to be there, so you didn't try consulting a user who wasn't available!

I am in public preview on my Mac desktop Teams client. Version is 25107.xxxx which looks like it's a Citrix/VDI version. I pulled the download from the official MS page for a fresh install and the version is the same. Not sure if that makes any difference but that's the version.

Error rendering messages with attachments

The messages containing attachments are not rendering. It says "Error encountered while rendering this message"

Camera - Extreme Lag

Following an update to MS Teams Public Preview last week - on or around 3/12/25, I am experiencing random extreme lag with my webcam when I'm on video. No other software was updated that should have affected this. While I've been troubleshooting, I've looked at everything I can think of. Drivers all updated, OS current with updates. Whether I have one app or many open, it is still random. I can end one call where my video lagged audio by about 3-5 seconds and then open another and it is fine. I have a corporate laptop with an integrated webcam. How can I begin to troubleshoot what is causing this?

Dear Community,

Public Preview is enabled on an individual basis (i.e. everyone can choose for themselves via their Teams-settings whether to enable or disable Public Preview). On the desktop app this works perfectly fine and a lot of the preview features are highly appreciated.

On the web application, on the other hand, the setting to turn on Public Preview is not available (i.e. it isn't displayed at all). According to my research, Public Preview should be available on the web as well. Our admin couldn't find any web-specific settings that might be responsible for the differences in availability between desktop and web.

Does anyone have the same issue or know whether there are any specific settings to enable Public Preview for web as well? Or does anyone know of changes from Teams regarding the availability of Public Preview for web?

Hide Team options missing

Just tested the preview version of Teams since a lot of key users are struggling with the new interface. I noticed for myself that the "Hide Team" option is missing and that my Teams that were hidden are not hidden anymore. We are an organisation where users are a member of a lot of Teams and a key option for our organisation is to hide Teams that are less important so that your Teams where you are working in on a daily basis are always visible.

Is this coming back or do you do this differently now?

I have enabled the "Public preview" option and LOVE the combined chat/channel feature!

Anyways, once my computer has been switched off and I turn it on the public preview is "reverted", but if I restart Teams, it is available again - is that a known issue?

File attachment issue with custom apps

Hi there, my org is currently on public preview and the latest version is 25017.203.3370.1174. We are running few chatbot apps withing the org and since the updates, we see that the file attachment option in our chatbot app is either disabled for everyone or inconstant for few users. Checked the manifest and mad suer the file operations attribute is set to "true". No idea what's causing this issue!

Combined chat/channels for Edu?
