Turn off The Download Pop Up?
Please see the Downloads in the upper right of this image. Is there a way to turn this off? I do a lot of downloading from Outlook and the window becomes so large it hides too much of the content of my screen.
Not sure about your Outlook version, but worth trying this:
1. Close Outlook
2. Run: Outlook /safe
3. Open Outlook > Click on File > Options > Add-ins > Click Go under COM Add-ins
4. Uncheck the Add-ins listed

Kidd_Ip thank you that did take care of that problem but created a new one. Now when I start typing a recipient's name, it no longer automatically fills in the email address. This applies to people in my contacts and people I frequently email.
Another minor problem is the appearance of my Outlook has changed. I can live with that but need the "autofill" of the email address. I can't always be fetching the email address from my contacts. Can you help?
- reeal710Copper ContributorThe next time I opened my Outlook, the problem was back so the solution wasn't permanent.
- MLinx14Copper ContributorThis new feature is incredibly disruptive! I get telling people who may not know but there should be a way to suppress the notification and giant pop-up list. This is a very time consuming feature with little reward. I anxiously await a permanent resolution!
