Office OneNote convert older version files to newer version

I am not able to open .one files in Microsoft Office OneNote 2021 desktop nor able to convert/migrate my OneNote files/tabs/pages/content etc. 

 

I have lots of contents. 

 

Please help.

    first question is "Why not"? Do you get an error? What is the error?

    You just say "I am not able to open the file", but you didn't give any details as to why you cannot open the file.

    Also, is it a PC or Mac issue?

      Without any details to your issue, that is all I can come up with

    I even took backup from my previous version (.one, .onetoc2, .onepkg files), but it is also not recoverable.
