Migrating from Stream Classic to Stream on SharePoint

I began (begrudgingly) moving our videos we have in Classic Stream to the new Stream experience.  However, after moving the videos into an org-wide SharePoint site, no one in the org is able to search for the videos.  I've ran the reindex of the SP site, to no avail.  All users have read access to these videos but they cannot filter them nor search for and find them.  Is this a flaw in the new product?  I also contacted support who said "Just keep waiting for more improvements."
