I'm having trouble linking workbooks in Excel Online on my Outlook account (email address removed for privacy reasons, Premium subscription).
When I try to link cells between two sheets in my OneDrive account, I always get a "Server Error" message. This works fine on another Outlook account, so the issue is specific to that account.
I've already tried signing out, clearing the cache, using different browsers, and making sure both files are mine and available in Excel for the web, but to no avail.
Can you figure out why the link isn't working and help me fix it?

Issue with Workbook Links Causing "Server Error" on My Outlook Account
Dear Microsoft Support,
I am having an issue with workbook links in Excel Online using my personal Outlook account
:
email address removed for privacy reasons (premium subscription, renewed two days ago).Whenever I try to create references between two Excel sheets—both owned by me and saved under the same OneDrive account—I get a "Server Error" message. The links do not work and data does not update. This works fine with a different Outlook account, so the problem is specific to this one.
I have tried:
Signing out and back in multiple times
Clearing browser cache
Using different browsers and devices
Ensuring both files are owned by the same account and opened in Excel for the web
The issue persists, forcing me to copy data manually every hour.
Can you:
Investigate why workbook linking fails on this account?
Confirm if there are known limitations or bugs for this feature?
Provide a resolution or workaround?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Dr. Mohamed Nour - mohnoorCopper Contributor
The linking between Excel sheets is unavailable. I paid for the subscription, but this linking is unavailable and the same problem is recurring on the server.
This is specific to the account I'm talking to you from. (mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons)
It's a subscription account.
I have another, unpaid, old account. The linking service works fairly on it. Why? And what is the solution? - Shiva143Copper Contributor

The excel autosave function is not working properly. I had an excel book that I had been preparing for days. I had the autosave mode ON, so I did not worry about manually saving right, thinking of course that it would autosave. So I was working on it today and my computer shut down because of a battery shortage. So I plug it in, turn it on again and my excel book was not the same. It keeps loading a version from 3 days ago, but all the modifications I made after that point were gone. I've tried checking the version history, but according to it, there were no versions from those days. I've also checked the OneDrive Recycle Bin, nothing either. I've come here after consulting with the technical support them to seek some help. Is my work lost forever? Please help

i've tried everything possible to enable macros on my excel file, I am not downloading a macro I want to simply write my own code its not complicated. I've tried saving my file to a trusted location. I've gone through the security setting and enabled macros. The only thing I haven't been able to do is open properties on my excel file and checking the "unblock" button but that is because that option simply does not appear on my end. Please help!
