The "Show Report Filter Pages" is grayed out in Excel Pivot Table Analyze . How do I fix it?

while i was working on my pivot table i found out that the show report fliter is greyed and i cannot get it to work any help would be appreciated

Quite strange. If you DO NOT use data model standard behaviour is like

and PivoTable Fields pane looks like

If you use data mode, table name(s) are shown in above pane

How the pane looks in your case?
