How to Add Grand Total in Pivot Chart Colum Bar ?

Copper Contributor

Hi Experts,

I have a scenario in pivot, Which goes as below,

Region         Count

 A                    1

 B                    2

 C                    3

Grand Total     6

Now i am creating a Stacked Column chart, where i want  Chart bars to show values of Region i.e A , B & C along with Grand Total Bar (Total 4 Bars in chart instead of 3 of region)

How to Execute this in Excel?

Note: I cannot make any changes to my pivot source.

Please Advise.

If this is what you need:

You could create a calculated item for the 'region' and disable the Grand Total on the pivot.

Hi Patrick, Thank You for your reply.

Tried As mentioned below, unable to get desired output. Kindly check on screen shot attached. I am missing something... Please Advise Ecxel Query for Chart .jpg

It looks like you're using a Calculated Field rather than a Calculated Item. If you're able to attach the workbook, I can take a look.

Hi @Patrick2788  ,

Sure, Attaching Excel sheet for same. ( Sample Sheet just to get idea on this concept, to apply on main report)

Maybe this: a calculated item and and some creative formatting.

Got It! Thank you so much Patrick! You've been very kind and helpful.

Thanks once again, Good Day! :)
