Maybe this: a calculated item and and some creative formatting.
If this is what you need:
You could create a calculated item for the 'region' and disable the Grand Total on the pivot.

- It looks like you're using a Calculated Field rather than a Calculated Item. If you're able to attach the workbook, I can take a look.
