Exchange archive mailbox migration license issue
Hi all, I have a situation where my environment is in a hybrid state with users ready to migrate. Some users are over 100GB but less 240GB, the Microsoft article on migrating large mailboxes says i have to provision the cloud archive first, but the documentation on this says i need a license. What's confusing me is if assign a license before they migrate this creates a whole new mailbox and all sorts of screwy thing happen and you have to clean up etc.. so, you instead assign the license after the migration.., but the cloud archive docu. is saying I need to assign a license for the cloud archive first. Has this changed where i can create the Cloud archive on-prem and migrate without needing a mailbox? am i missing something?Exchange Decommissioning Set-Remotemailbox command
Hi all, I have a situation where someone was with a hybrid Exchange Server configuration was using scripts to provision accounts with Set-RemoteMailbox. Testing was being done with the recipient management using the exchange management and noticed mailboxes are being provisioned and working as expected without even running their set-remotemailbox commands and are curious if this is even needed anymore. So I guess my question is, at this stage where .\CleanupActiveDirectoryEMT.ps1 is the last thing to do, would set-remotemailbox still be necessary, and what would it be used for. I know usually you can just create an on-prem mailbox, synced and license, so I'm not sure if set-remotemailbox is required for new mailboxes or but I'm thinking it's for managing mailboxes that were previously migrated. Thanks for any input.
Migration of personals Google accounts to M365
Hello, An association I work with uses personal Google accounts for each employee (there are 30 in all). They use Gmail, Google Chat, shared calendars and a Google Drive as a file server. I subscribed to the Microsoft for non-profit offer, configured the M365 tenant and acquired M365 Business Premium licences for each user. To my knowledge, there are no tools for easily migrating all the data from personal Google accounts to M365. I don't have any problems transferring old emails. However, I don't know how to transfer all the Google calendars with their respective access rights to M365. I have the same problem with Google Drive files. Have you ever been faced with this type of situation? Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much for your help! Jo
Unable to connect to Office 365 servers from just 1 cumputer
Hello, I´m having an issue with just 1 computer. All the computers on the office have the same internet connection, but, one of them can't connect to Office 365 servers. That means he can't use Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive... But he can search anything on the browser, its strange and I have been looking for the solution many hours. I guess web connectors are on the outs. I have a Power Automate Workflow working that posts a message to a chat in teams but using same code I cannot post via a script on one of my servers. Authentication issue I suppose. So, how would I authenticate my code using an MS user and how can I do it without needing MFA. Hi, TheMicrosoft 365 network connectivity test is widely used to check and tshoot issues related with MS products. Some colleagues and myself, have seen than this week, the tool is not running ok. When I checked, the downloaded file today is missing a digital signature which makes it untrusted for the browsers. I read a post from May pointing an issue, to a possible lack of digital signature too. Are you guys aware of this? When would this be fixed? Thanks for your collaboration in advance!
