Indirect Reseller unable to sign the newest MPA
- Apr 22, 2024
Please CIL:
We are the indirect provider of this reseller. 🙂 Ah, got it. Thanks for pointing that out.
We have a Dutch Indirect Reseller, who signed the latest MPA in 2017. He hasn't signed in to the Partner Center for many years, and now he wants to start transacting licenses. However, when he signs in, he is unable to sign the latest Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA).
- As far as the MPA signature goes, only needs to be signed one time.
- Do you and/or the Reseller have a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program account?
- You can verify that your PartnerID is active and/or confirm your status of CSP program enrollment & verify that the MPA was signed by going to the link that I provided in my reply above. Here's the link again for your convenience - The Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA) for CSP - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn
- The following public documents can help indirect resellers accept the MPA and be compliant.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to provide tech support. However, I may have information that can help.
I do not know what the process was in 2017, therefore, my suggestion is that you start by reviewing the following current information to ensure the account was set up with current guidelines, and to ensure current steps were taken- The Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA) for CSP - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn:
To continue to participate in the CSP program, you must first sign the Microsoft Partner Agreement. If you haven't signed the agreement, you'll receive reminders from Partner Center that you can easily sign the agreement from within Partner Center.
The MPA must be signed once in every CSP region where your company does CSP business. To learn more, see Cloud Solution Provider program regional markets and currencies where you can sell CSP offers.
Technically, if you are a Microsoft Reseller in CSP, you should work with your Indirect Provider (aka Distributor) who has a direct relationship with Microsoft and can provide you with customer support, pricing, and billing that help to ensure your success.
